Voters in Odessa Township approved the Emergency Services Millage, increased it up to the original voted 1 mill and levied it for four years.  The millage will be collected 2012 through 2015 to fund Odessa Township Emergency Services.  The funds raised through this millage may be used to fund our services and equipment for the Lake Odessa Fire Department and our current ambulance service, LIFE EMS.  A portion will also be distributed to the Lake Odessa Downtown Authority as required by the  twenty-year agreeement with the Authority.  The proposal passes 245 to 170.  (A 60% to 40% margin.)
