Lakewood Wastewater Authority

Wondering about your sewer bills or your sewer service? The Lakewood Wastewater Authority (LWA) – a separate entity from the Village – owns, operates, and maintains the entire sewer system in the Village of Lake Odessa. The LWA is overseen by a six-member board with representatives from the service areas.  The daily operation of the plant and collection system is accomplished by a Superintendent, Asst. Superintendent and three wastewater operators.

While the Village of Lake Odessa and the LWA bill jointly on a quarterly basis, the Village of Lake Odessa does not set the fees for sewer services — instead, these are set by the Lakewood Wastewater Authority.
