Meetings

The Supervisor calls meetings to order at 7:00 p.m. The meetings are held at the township office located at 3862 Laurel Drive, Lake Odessa, MI.

Contact the Supervisor at (616) 374-4237 ext. 12, to have your item added to the agenda.

The Odessa Township Board will provide necessary, reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audiotapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting or public hearing upon 10 days’ notice to the Odessa Township Board.

Visitor Policy

Any person who addresses the Odessa Township Board during a township meeting or public hearing shall be limited to three minutes in length per individual presentation unless otherwise authorized by the chairperson. The Clerk will maintain the official time.

When persons address the Odessa Township Board, they can be requested to state their name and home address. They should confine discussion to the question at hand and to its merits. Speakers should address their remarks to the chairperson, maintain a courteous tone, and avoid interjecting a personal note into debate. No person shall have the right to speak more than once on any particular subject until all other persons wishing to be heard on that subject have had the opportunity to speak.

Placement of audio/visual equipment will be allowed with permission from and at the discretion of the Township Supervisor.
